Independent Task 2

1) What are you doing?
My Friend is getting married in March and I told her that I was taking a digital photography class. She told me if I could photograph her wedding for her and her husband. I told her that if I photograph her wedding if it would be okay if I also use those photos for my independent task and she said that it was fine. I will also be photographing powder puff, and some of the practices maybe. I was also thinking of editing some of those photos.

2)How will you verify?
I will upload several photographs of the wedding on to the blog. I will upload the originals and then I will also upload some of the photographs that I edit on photoshop. Purther assigned this job to me and Heidi and he will see that we are there photographing the whole time.

3)How does it relate to your EQ?
The way that my friends wedding will relate to the answer of my EQ is that I will be applying everything that I have learned so far about wedding photography. I will put all the techniques that I have learned into the photographs to see what works and what does not. I will be messing around with the lighting, and I will see how to capture the true emotion in that moment. As far as powder puff goes this helps me with my EQ because it will help me deal with hectic events with a lot of movement all over the place.

Independent Task #1

LIA: "I, Nancy C. Frias, affirm that I completed my independent component which represents 30 hours of work."
In my Independent Task I took a digital photography class with Jack Bohlka as my teacher. The class runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm-6pm. In this class we have learned a lot of stuff from how to use the cameras properly, fix setting in the camera, different lighting types, good composition, how to edit photos in Photoshop, and have taken various types of photography (head shoots, textures, abstract, landscape, and black and white)

This is the link on my facebook page were you can see some of the photographs that I have taken during my 30 hours of my independent task. (If for some reason you are not able to view the photographs let me know)
This has helped me answer my EQ because I have learned what makes a photograph capture the eye of the viewer such as lighting, composition and how to capture the emotion in a photograph.
